Dear BHI Customers and Vendors:
The health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers is our top priority. We recognize the gravity of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and want to share the steps we are actively taking to address this unprecedented and evolving situation.
Our objective during this challenging time is to maintain a safety work environment while remaining operational. We have developed plans that align with CDC recommendations that will allow us to respond timely to any changes or threats.
In addition to the steps outlined above we are taking the following actions at both our U.S. and Mexico facilities: employees who have flu like symptoms are advised to stay home and seek proper medical care, all non-essential meetings have been cancelled, intercompany visits have been suspended, all sales related travel and trade shows have been suspended and we are enforcing sanitization efforts and precautions in manufacturing and office workspaces.
We will continue to operate during normal business hours at both facilities. We want to assure you that the risk of our operations being impacted due to border closures should be minimal, as both operations function independently and service local geographic regions. Many of our products service “Essential Businesses” and we are working closely with our customs broker to expedite inter-company transfers.
We are here for you and will keep you informed of any changes as the situation evolves on our website. The BHI Leadership Team will continue to monitor guidance from federal and state governments, and we will update our business practices accordingly.
We will keep those on the front line of this battle, first responders and members of the military, as well as your family and ours, in our thoughts and prayers in this difficult time for us all. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
